Renaming function of KV Vinod hometown Perunthaleri - Chengalai Road as KV Vinod Road
Kannur Rural District Police Chief Dr Navneet Sharma IPS inaugurated the renaming of his hometown Perunthaleri - Chengalai Road as KV Vinod Road in memory of KV Vinod, a KAP 4 th Bn soldier who sacrificed his life in the SPC - led Muthanga agitation as part of the Police Memorial Day celebrations.
District Panchayat Standing Committee Chairperson Adv Ratnakumari presided over the function. The function was attended by SPC District Nodal Officer Shri AR Ramesh, ADNO Shri Thampan, Chengalai Panchayat Member, Srikanthapuram SHO Shri EP Suresan and SPC cadets from GHSS Srikanthapuram unit.
